Swimming with the dolphins is one of the best experiences you can have in The Bahamas. Nowhere else but here can you find more opportunities to swim with these beautiful marine mammals.

The Freeport Dolphin Encounter is a 2-hour tour, which includes a dolphin show, swimming with the dolphins, board a dolphin ferry boat for the short 20 minute ride to “Sanctuary Bay,” home to twelve Atlantic Bottle Nose Dolphins.

There, you will learn about the dolphins while they splash and jump around you.  Then jump in the water yourself and be delighted as the dolphins approach you for back rubs and kisses. There are always professional photographers standing by to capture your moment with these magnificent creatures.

After the program, you can enjoy lunch or a snack at the Dive In Marina Bar & Restaurant, take a dip in the 17-foot deep pool or shop in the 4000 square foot store or simply enjoy the view and watch macaws and cockatoos.
